Exit Looe train station and turn right in the direction of the town centre, turn right to cross the main road bridge leading to West Looe/Polperro. Turn right to pass by some souvenir shops and arcade. Following the road down and curving slightly left, continue to the end of the car park keeping the river to your right.
At the entrance to Kilminorth Woods an information board displays a number of footpath options through the woods to Watergate and returning to Looe – take your pick. All routes are way marked and easy to follow.
