Trail

Coombe
to St. Keyne Station
Approximately
2 miles (3km)
Easy walk. Largely consists of routes by road. See the old water mill and remnants of the old canal and lock at Coombe Station.
Standing with your back to Coombe Station shelter, go left along the path to the rail crossing. Walk up to the junction and bear right and continuing until you find a stile on your left (it may be a little obscured by trees).
The path leading up and through this narrow field has become overgrown and may not be too obvious but will lead you up towards a stile at the top left of the field. Cross the stile and turn right along the track and onto the main road.
Following the main B3254 you will see the bridge over the railway on your right, stay on the main road for a few more yards proceeding over a stream and turn left by the cottage.
This lane takes you up and along the farm road to Housey Farm. Turn right at the junction. The road descends to the bottom of the East Looe Valley. At the junction turn left and continue along the road until you see St. Keyne Station, left of the rail bridge.
